Long year in a nutshell....
Chris Big moved in,
New kitchen put together by my dAd
we got engaged,
Lorenzo made it through kindergarten,
Tayshon graduated preschool,
Lil Chris (Lc) moved in....

And so it begins another school year.............

PLEASE!!! write your names....

Lorenzo has been able to write his name for awhile now... I'd say at least a year!..Super proud...I get teary eyed and overcome with emotion everytime I see him write it!...He always makes sure he has all of his letters in...if he runs out of room he will cram them in anywhere!..I LOVE IT!!!

Tayshon....yup my Tater!!...he can do it, he can spell it, but "NO I CAN'T" is usually the response I get when I ask...If I hand him a pencil...He will say "together, I need together pllleeeeease"....awww shoot!...

So finally I resulted to positive reinforcement, some may call this bribery, I prefer positive reinforcement...$4.97 Lego train for each...

So it went like this "boys,if you write you name for mommy, I will give you a surprise!"
Lorenzo "OK mommy!! I will write it 2 times!"
Tater "I can't do it!"
Me "come on Tater for me?  I will tell you the letters to write."
Tater "OK PINE MA!...T...A...I need helps, TOGETHERZ"
Me "please Tayshon I love it when you write your name for me like a big boy"
Tater "OK PINE I JUST DO IT MYSELF!"

The Drive Thru....

We went through the McDonalds drive through the other day...I started to order "could I please have a" cut off by Taters voice (with his window rolled down) "please a cheeseburger, two cheeseburger. NO pickle, I dont like pickle. Oragnge pops. Apple juices. OH and three chocolate chip cookies for Beebo brother. he lubs cookies"...I was so proud and embarrassed and laughing so hard!!!....LOVE MY LIL MEN!!

Welcome Back!!!

It's been a long long time since I've been able to blog!...And I'm sooooooo happy to be able to again...This first one back I'm going to just give a couple of my favorite Lil Man quotes;

so far this week...lols....w

so far this week...we have had lots of laughing moments...some that i couldnt laugh at until afterwards....at 210 am...benzo crawls into bed next to me and said lmommy i snuggle you...of course benzo..the next thing i know there are little fingers pinching and poking my face...he said oh mommy your face is soo squishy...i replied yes benzo yours is too. go to sleep...umm mommy wanna play trains...no benzo go to sleep...so for the next 2 hours i heard recites from the movies..chipmunks. rio. backyardigans. toy story and every kind of animal noise he knows....my alarm went off and he rolled over and said mommy im segsawstead and went to sleep...awesome...lol                                                                              well then we are driving to daycare and tater wakes up...i hear..dave watch out...what the heck...chipmunks...nice...i get to daycare today and of course tayshon is the only kid playing in the puddle...soaked...lol...we get into the car and benzo tells him...tayshon you all wet. gross...so apparently tater developed a complex from this...because the whole way home he kept saying pants off grossssssssss.....lol...love these boys

ahhh....wonderful mornings!

Yesterday morning I believe I was beat up by my 4 year old...LOL...yes this is funny because he was sleeping..It was 335am and I snuck into the room to put the boys' clothes on for daycare...usually, USUALLY, they remain sleeping while I carefully put their little clothes, coats and hats on...well, I got Tater all dressed and ready...then moved on to Benzo...Well I got his socks on and he was still snoring...I rolled him over, he was still snoring...Suddenly he started yelling in between snores..."QUIT IT OUT MOMMY! QUIT IT OUT RIGHT NOW!" and his little fists were flying..."I NOT GOING TO SCHOOL!  IT BROKEN!  SCHOOL BROKEN!"...calm..snoring...legs and fists!...snoring...LOL!...and throught this 20 minute sleep battle, Tater remained asleep...We made it to daycare...ontime!...

So this morning I had a new plan...be slower...lol...Nope same results!...but this time he woke up and ran downstairs yelling "I JUST NOT GO TO SCHOOL!"...but by the time we were in the car...he was calm and excited to go to "learning school"..YAY!

our first few days

well we moved into grandmas...i picked them up from grannys and brought them to our new home...lorenzo walked downstairs and said wow this is  wicked...wicked huhn i dont think i love my 4 year old saying that one...lol...tayshon saw all of his toys and said mine toys mine toys...lol...he is definately at the mine phase...lol...the first night went well...everyone in bed and sleeping by 9pm...the second day...woke up and headed to learning school for benzo...that all went well...i picked benzo up instead of him riding the bus to daycare...he saw me and screamed hey thats my mommy...he pretty much scared the crap outta all the other kids...haha...then walked up all cool and calm and said hey mom what you doin here...lol...my boy.ne..anyways...we came home and played...went to jaryns last cheerleading...and groceries with grandma...benzo had this cough and little fever...so we went to bed...i woke up 1215am to benzo saying uh oh mommy and puking all over me and everything on the way to the bathroom...awesome....then in the middle of that tater came running in holding his bottom yelling i poooooooooop....so one puking in the big potty and one on the little potty...not so fun...thank god thats over...so far everything is ok...the boys adjust well to new places as long as their toys are there...thank god for that too...so this mommy is praying this will be be very temporary...then back to charlotte and back to a somewhat normal life for my boys...

thankful they adapt well

well we are all moved in...i am so grateful and blessed that my boys adapt so well...seems no matter where we call home...they are happy...and i am blessed...hopefully this. is avery temporary move in our lives...but for now they are happy...

Good Morning Mommy

Woke up this morning to Lorenzo saying "Oh Good Morning Mommy!"....I said "Good morning Benzo and Tater"....Lorenzo said "Oh Hi Mommy!...I got unnerwears on!...Tayshon got unnerwears on...and I need blue juice in blue cup please"....AWWW!!!....my heart burst with emotion!...They did have their underwear on!...Taters were backwards, but on!...So I got their blue juice in a blue cup for Benzo and a green cup for Tater...Lots of Thank yous...then I went into the bathroom...it appeared they both had went potty...due to the pittle on the floor (Benzo) and ALL over the seat (Tater)....but they went!...Then I went into my room(Ive been sleeping on their floor)....THEY UNPACKED A BUNCH OF BOXES!!!!....Little crappers!!!....I said "Um boys?...what did you do in Mommy's room?"...Tayshon ran in and yelled "Toys, Toys, Toys!"...and Benzo came in "Uh Mommy, Mine toys!"....so I explained "boys, we are moving to Grandma's house and we need to leave your toys in the boxes until we get there.  Please leave the boxes alone"....Benzo said "it's ok, it's ok, it's ok. Quit that whinning,  Relax, relax, reeeeeelax Mommy.  Let's play!"...So we shall play!

Benzo's teeth

We went to Sparrow Hospital to have Lorenzo's dental work done.  Due to his "heightened sensitivitydisorder"  they completly put him under and did everything at once....

1. He was determined not to wear their hospital gown, so he put his Thomas the Train shirt back on..

2. Then it was ok because he got to watch cartoons...

                                            3. "Mommy! What is on your head?"

4. "Mommy, I go HOME?...OK?"

                                            5. Made a friend...Just dont Touch my marker

6. Getting ready to be put under...I struggled to hold it together, but he was a trooper..

                   7. Tayshon did a great job waiting for Beebo....

                                  8.  Poor guy had a hard time waking up....

9. Got home and he kept looking in the mirror at his teeth...Poor Guy...He brushed them 3 times trying to get the silver off!

                                  10.  Apparently the tylenol and motrin combo kicked in....

Poor Benzo woke up twice in the night telling me his teeth hurt him...Then he struggled at daycare today so I had to call Aunt Dana to the rescue...Mommy will just stay home for a couple days till my lil man feels better....Hopefully this is the only time he will have to endure all that nonsense!...Glad I am the one they call "Mommy"...

Maxadint!

Yesterday Tayshon and Lorenzo were jumping on their trampoline...Lorenzo says "Um Tayshon you have a maxadint? Dont pee pee in your unnerwears!"...Tayshon replies with a simple "No"...Lorenzo said "Um yeah Tayshon you pee peed in your unnerwears"...Tater "No"...So I said "Tayshon do you need to go potty?"..."NO!"...So I took his hand and walked him to the bathroom...I helped him take off his wet "unnerwears"....and he said "UH OH accident!"...LOL...I said "its ok Tater, next time you will make it to the potty"..He said "yeah potty chair Mommy!"...

He is getting it.  I can handle 1 "maxadint' a day...Ah the joys of potty training....

The feeling of Love

I want to remember all of the things my boys do to make this mommy feel loved!...

Every morning and every night before bed I say to them "I love you guys soooo much"...and I always get Benzo "Love you so much Mommy" and Tater "Blove boo Mommy"....I cant express the feeling of hearing that...anytime I tell them I love you I ALWAYS get one back!...

If I appear upset Benzo will say "are you ok Mommy?..Its ok, Its ok, Its ok"...until I smile and say 'Thank you Benzo, Mommy is ok"...My comforter....

If I tell the boys "No more fighting, THAT'S ENOUGH!"...Tater will come to me and say "Mommy nuggle?"...and climb into my lap as if to say "ok mommy we will quit for 33 seconds"...LOL...My sneaky innocent...

Somedays I forget how blessed I am to have TWO healthy boys (for the most part)...and every so often I think they can sense that I need a reminder...They snuggle me and hug me and kiss me and lick my face like a puppy!...They are pretty well behaved for the most part...LOL!...I have my moments when I just cant take anymore slapping or biting...I holler at them and they try their hardest to stop for a moment...

Sometimes I take the trains for granted...I really don not love to play trains....Benzo will try to convince me otherwise..."Mommy play trains?..Mommy LOVES trains!...Mommy sit play trains?"...But whenever he asks I sit on the floor at the train table and play...because one day he isnt going to want his Mommy to play anymore...one day my boys will be "too cool" to hang with mom...

Sometimes when I lay down with Tater at night and he rubs and rubs and rubs and rubs my face until it feels like he has rubbed a hole in my cheek...I get irritated...but I never say anything to him...I just let him rub my face...because one day before I know it...He wont want me to lay with him until he falls asleep...he wont need the comfort of rubbing my cheek to help him fall asleep....one day my baby is going to "need that"....

So I will take all of the feelings of being loved I can get for now because one day my "Lil Men" are going to be "grown men" and wont need me for the little things...

I LOVE my boys with ALL of my heart...and I can feel they love me with all of theirs...Thank God!

I was thinkin

This morning....We were walking out the door and Benzo said "Uh Mommy, I was thinkin cancakes and sausage then aunt Dana and Chris buddy house"....I said "yeah Benzo we can get cancakes and sausage"...he said "Uh mommy, I was thinkin Aunt Dana house?"...LOL...So I stopped by Mandys house this morning on the way to daycare and Benzo said "yeah mom I will stay here..OK?"...And Tater said 'NO GRANDMASSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

too many boo boos!

Yesterday the boys were at Granny's and Tater cut his foot on a tack strip...and he has been limping around...then today Benzo kept opening the sliding glass door...The last time I shut it his poor lil finger was in it!!...now everytime he bends it he says it hurts!....My poor babies!!

I not Stinky

Its tubby time....
"Lorenzo and Tayshon, come on guys lets take a tubby.  You guys need to wash your stinky butts!"...Tater comes running trying to rip his "diber" off and Lorenzo yells from his room "Um no Mommy, I not stinky!..Tayshon you stinky!"...So I said "come on Lorenzo you too"....he yells "ok one minute Mommy"....and 5 minutes later..."Lorenzo get in here!"...."OK PINE MOM, I COMING!"....and into the tubby they go!

Bumber Party

Tayshon decided we should have a bumber party last night...So I piled the blankets on the floor and turned on "llama" and we all layed down...naturally for the next 40 mins, the boys had to wiggle around, switch spots, readjust the blankets, trade pillows, jump on my stomach a few times, and have a couple slap each other sessions...but finally they snuggled up and we all said "I love you" and I thought we were off to sleep...Then Lorenzo noticied the book shelf next to him..so we spent the next 1/2 hour reading books...No big deal that the light were off...I know Mr. Brown can Moo by heart...LOL...all in all it was a nice "Bumber Party"

Go play with Mom

Lorenzo woke up from his nap today and Tayshon was playing with Gordon the train...So Lorenzo jumped up and ran over to him and said "Tayshon!, go play with Mommy and quit touching my stuff all time! I mean it Tayshon, DO YOU HEAR ME, stop it Tayshon!"..When Tater finally walked away he said "DUMMY"...and Lorenzo replied "are you friggin Kidding me!?"...

Later on...The boys were jumping on the trampoline...and Tayshon passed gas 22 times in a row (I could be exaggerating but not by much)...Lorenzo said "WHOA!..Tayshon fartbuster!..Did you poop Tayshon?...Tayshon a stinky butt?"...Tayshon replied "OH I part buster, PHEW!...I go poop!" and ran to the bathroom...

THUMP!!!

Once again I was in the kitchen and I hear a loud THUMP!!!...Then I hear "Uh Oh Tayshon Mommy mad!"...I said "Boys what are you doing?"...Lorenzo "nothing Mommy"..Tayshon "Uh Oh!"...So I walk into my room and they are both hiding under my bed and my laptop is on the floor!!...I said "WHAT HAPPENED!?"...Lorenzo said "dont worry Mommy, are you happy?..OK!"...I replied "no I'm not happy, why are you two trying to wreck mommys stuff?"...Tayshon said "Sorry Mommy, Snuggle?"...Darn I cant even stay mad (and obviously my laptop is fine because I'm using it for this!)...

Fruit Loops

This morning Tayshon want circles (Fruit Loops) for breakfast...So I gave him a bowl..while I was pouring he kept saying "More please, more please"...so he took his heaping bowl to his little table...finished it and came to me and said "Mommy, circle please!"...so I went to pour him another bowl and he pointed at the box and said "this this please!"...So I gave Tater the box...the little piggy just brought it back to me EMPTY!!!...this can't be healthy!...LOL!...I am hoping this is a phase or I could be in grocery trouble!

PIZZA!!



Every time we order pizza hut the boys get sooo excited when the delivery man knocks on the door...LOL...So today there was a knock on the door and Lorenzo said "Oh Tayshon, know what it is?"...Tayshon replied "PIZZZZZA!!"...They both ran to the door...Lorenzo opened it and said "about time! I SOOOO HUNGY!"...The delivery man said "I'm sorry little guy. I will hurry next time"...Tayshon said "pizza please pizza pizza pizza!"...and Lorenzo said "Well i have it please?"...Laughing the delivery guy handed Lorenzo the pizza and Tayshon slammed the door then opened it and said "Tank OOO and reslammed it!...HaHa!...Poor Delivery man!!...He was definitely laughing as he left!
